So its been a while since I have had a chance to blog, but I am super excited to tell you all about some GREAT new products I have found from In love with skincare! I first discovered their lip balms and was intrigued to learn more about their other products and they very graciously provided me with some samples that I have been trying out!
First up is their Shave Gel in Citrus Zephyr. I wasn’t all that excited about this and actually didn’t even really pay attention to the fact that it was a gel until I jumped in the shower and opened it up. Turns out I really liked the idea of the gel over a traditional shaving foam or cream/gel that I have typically used. This went on very light and seemed to be a lot more moisturizing than anything I have used before. The scent is also very light and just enough in my opinion. My favorite thing about this product is that it’s so light and only a small amount is needed to do the job. I hate how the typical shave creams come out in such large globs and basically go to waste and on top of that Im not even really sure what ingredients they really contain and if they are even necessary (Im going to guess not!). Truthfully I never really thought much about this type product and whether or not what i was using was full of chemicals so I am so glad that I got to try this out!
Next I tried the Tremella Body Lotion in Coconut Lime and I am soooo in love!!!! I am kind of a snob when it comes to lotions and I am always on the hunt for a new favorite. Honestly I tend to find one I like and then find some reason to not purchase it again; but I can honestly say that this is one I will for sure be purchasing after my sample is gone! The texture of this lotion is perfect, it is just thick enough and has just the right amount of moisture. On top of that I really loved the scent as well, like the rest of their products the scent is subtle and light.
I also got to try out their Mojito Lip Balm which is another great hit in my opinion. I had seen this flavor in my local store but was leery at first, as I like mojitos but don’t necessary know how I feel about a mojito lip balm. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this lip balm. I really shouldn’t have been surprised by the perfect amount of scent that this balm has because this company has pretty much nailed the perfect scent on all of their products I have previously mentioned – They are just spot on!
Last but not least, my new favorite product is the Greece Deodorant with Orange Blossom. When I made the decision to change to all natural products, the one that seemed to be the most difficult to transition was my deodorant or anti-perspirant (which most of us call deodorant but really don’t realize the difference!). I have seen tons of all natural deodorants on the market and heard lots of bad reviews on ones that don’t work, so needless to say, I was overwhelmed. I opted to just stick with the one I had been using, granted it wasn’t all natural but yet it wasn’t that bad so I figured it was better than what it could be! When In love with body care asked me what I would like to try of their product line, I immediately said their deodorant. I had been hoping I would eventually get an all natural deodorant sample in one of my subscription boxes I receive because then I wouldn’t have to do the searching and I would be forced to give it a go but no luck. Anyway, upon receiving my goodies in the mail, I decided it was time to give it a go. I love that I can put this on and know that it is all natural and safe and I don’t have to worry about possible chemicals AND it actually works! It took a bit for me to get used to the fact that at points you will sweat and that this product doesn’t stop the sweating because its actually good for you to sweat. Other than that, I have had no issues whatsoever with smell! I put it on once in the morning and I am set for the whole day. I haven’t yet tried hot yoga or anything with it, but I am assuming that in a situation like that I may need to reapply after which I am completely fine with as I usually need to shower afterwards anyway! Overall, this product really surprised me by how easy it was to transition to! I didn’t think that I would find an all natural deodorant that I actually preferred to use and didn’t mind. If you are thinking of trying out anything from In Love with Body Care I HIGHLY recommend that you try one of their deodorants!!! Honestly all of their products are really great so you cannot go wrong with any of them !
